賀照緹　HO, Chao-ti

賀照緹（Ho Chao-ti）是紀錄片製作人及導演，多年來以邊緣的非主流議題為拍攝對象，包括全球化衝擊以及當代文化混血等題材。除了擔任獨立導演及製片之外，也在CNEX基金會擔任台灣區製片統籌。

賀照緹因其獨特的影片視野，作品在歐、美、亞洲國際影展獲獎無數。她的影像語彙豐富多元，直指人心，兼具溫柔與鋒利的特質。因為作品中優異的藝術表現，獲得紐約當代美術館（MoMA）邀約，於館內展出。近年製作國際性議題的紀錄片，成績斐然。正在製作中的新作「只要我長大」，已經獲得美國日舞協會Sundance Institute 補助獎，是第一位獲此殊榮的台灣導演。

About the Director

HO, Chao-ti

HO, Chao-ti is a producer and director of documentary films. For several years she has made motion pictures centered on marginalized communities and non-mainstream issues, such as the impact of globalization and contemporary cultural hybridity. In addition to her work as an independent filmmaker, she is production director for the Taipei office of CNEX Foundation.

Distinguished by a unique vision, HO, Chao-ti’s works have been featured in international film festivals in Europe, North America and Asia, receiving numerous awards. Her rich and complex cinematic vocabulary stirs the heart with an approach that is both gentle and trenchant. In recognition of the outstanding artistic nature of her works, one of her films has been screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In recent years she has released a series of documentaries on international issues, to wide acclaim. HO, Chao-ti is the recipient of a grant from the Sundance Institute for her new work in progress, “Turning 18.” She is the first Taiwanese director to receive this honor.
